Jackson Hole was better than I expected on my first visit. I had heard mixed reviews, but went with an open mind. The first thing that impressed me was the great size of the place. Then, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made every accomodation for us and gave us personable advice on route choice. I was stunned by the beauty of the surrounding area. The views of the rugged cliffs and the valley below was something out of a fairy tale. Not to mention the groomed runs were magnificent. Great for cruising! It had plenty of beginning terrain, but even more to offer for the intermediate and advanced skiers. Access to extreme terrain was evident all around. Jackson surrpassed my expectations, and gets high reviews from me.
