This is really BIG Mountain Skiing. Lots of ungroomed terrain! Lots of tree skiing and LOTS of Fun. Spent 5 days there with friends I grew up with who know how to ski really well. They were impressed and awed by the place. They were Big mountains skiers and knew how to orient themselves to Jackson. Respect this place because it can hurt you if you are unaware. The weather changes like a pendulum...raining at 9am......massive snow at 11am..... blisteringly cold and clear at 2pm Just be prepared for it. it is one of the challenges that make it great. Mangy Moose is a must and have a real German dinner at Pepi Steigler's restaurant! But you Will need a reservation as it is Very small This was a lifetime trip for the three of us and IT WAS GREAT! I wish my legs were younger as each day ended with a trip to the convenience store for a bag of ice.... a few for the glass and the rest for the knees!
