We drove almost three hours to ski Grand Targhee and wow it was worth the drive!! The terrain was fantastic, plenty for all skill levels. The wide open terrain gave me the opportunity to tree ski with plenty of open space. Really, really enjoyed the resort. The thing I can't figure is why they reserve more of the same terrain just for cat skiing? We considered cat skiing if there was some novelty to it but the terrain offered via cat was no different than what was available by lift. And it was right next to the resort. Strange. Just add a longer lift!
