  • Targhee Revises Expansion Plans

    In November, Grand Targhee withdrew their proposal for their controversial expansion plans from Teton County Commissioners due to demands for concessions. This month, they resubmitted the proposal with some modifications. Full Article

  • Targhee Adds Adaptive Bi-Skis

    Teton Adaptive Sports, Inc. recently donated two bi-ski chairs to Grand Targhee Resort. And with the donation, the resort's adaptive ski program takes a leap forward. The Jackson Hole non-profit group associated with Disabled Sports/USA gave the resort one bi-ski chair for adults and one for children. Full Article

    Spots for Points North Heli-Adventures are 95 percent full for 2007. PNH is the only all-inclusive heli-ski operation in Alaska that offers a flight-hour rate instead of a guaranteed vertical package rate. Full Article

  • Seven Springs, Eight Inches

    Winter weather has hit Seven Springs Mountain Resort hard the past few days, but nobody seems to be complaining. The Champion, Pa. resort is running at 100 percent as of Thursday thanks to eight inches of fresh snowfall and 14 inches of man-made snow. Full Article

  • Jackson Opens; Targhee Opens More

    Last weekend, Jackson Hole launched its 40th ski season, while on the other side of the Teton Range, Grand Targhee opened up additional runs. On a combination of natural and machine-made snow, Jackson opened 2,170 vertical feet of terrain. Full Article
