2008 skiing at Wilmot is the best in many years. Lot's of fresh snow has kept the runs well covered. Weekdays and evenings offer small crowds and cheaper lift tickets. The Turtle tow rope hill will always be a little slow with many first timers grabbing onto to the rope and praying for the best. Weekends are generally crowded with lot's of waiting (ticket, rental and lift lines) between 11am and 4pm. It's about 50/50 snowboarders and skiers. For a pleasant experience, try Sunday night skiing (after 5 pm) when the kids have all gone home and no wait lift lines are the norm.
