I taught my godson Christopher (15 yrs old) how to do snowboarding for the very first time on their beginners slopes..which is located above the tow ropes area. After about half an hour of skating, doing heel sides, and some toe sides on the board around their practice area, I was able to bring him up to the chairlift and ride it all the way up to the top of the mountain. And he did GREAT!! He was a NATURAL! Anyway, Wilmot's beginners area is great...its a pretty wide area, you don't have to use their tow ropes. You can just come up the hill walking and when you get up to around slopes, you can start balancing on your skis or board. Their other slopes for intermediate and advance are pretty short though. It would only take you around less than 2 minutes to get down. Bring your sodas or drinks...because they are so expensive there. Their food are fairly priced.
