Uncrowded, quick lifts, relativly cheap
Short runs, limited space, management kinda sucks

My Girlfriend and I took a quick trip to Wilmot on a friday. This was a relatively quick drive (45 min) from Chicago. The daytime on a weekday is for sure the time to go because the lift tickets are cheap ($32) and the whole park was fairly empty. The runs were wide open and the lift lines were short. This meant you got a lot of runs in a short period at least 20+ in 4 hours. The conditions were pretty good, there was some sections with some light powder. This surprised me because I had been hearing that the conditions are usually icy. However there are not a wide variety of runs, two green, two blue and two black plus a terrain park. So you end up going on the same few runs over and over again. Overall this was a good experience for me but given the opportunity I would rather go to cascade or devils head.
