Located about 50 miles from the Twin Cities, "Troll" is easily accessible for day trips. Since it's the Midwest don't worry too much about the 260 feet of vertical ! What they do have are 22 trails accessed by 3 chairlifts and 6 rope tows. There is a good mix of green and blue runs for the families, kids, and novices to play on.

Young park rats can sharpen their skills on the Valhalla Terrain Park while the more experienced jibbers can launch themselves off the ramps & boxes of the Summit Terrain Park. Rope tows provide fast and easy laps on each of the parks. If you're looking for a little steep stuff, jump into Fall Line. It's a short shot of adrenaline. It's especially fun after a fresh dumping of snow. When you want to let 'em run, take your big GS turns down Storebakken and cruise it. Slow down and use caution as you approach the intersection near the lift.

If you want a little apres ski action, stop by the Skolhaugen Lounge in the main chalet. If you're lucky you'll catch the tunes of local snowkiters Steve and Nancy Blain and their band 50/50.
