Full review

Located off of some county roads near Wild Rose lies Nordic Mountain. The hills is small and seems to cater to school groups---as there were many buses present on our visit. That being the case, there was a lot of first timers present which lead to long lines (20 minutes plus), as well as stop and go on the lift and going down the hill. Also, the runs were surprisingly short. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes and on the lift for 5 you would expect something more than a 3 minute run. In fact, felt a little bit like Disney at times with regard to the line. There was another chair lift on the property which we were told would remain closed until night which was disappointing on account of the long lines. After tiring of waiting in a few of these long lines, my wife and I left 45 dollars poorer with a day filled with wasted driving. My suggestion is to go hit somewhere in the UP with longer runs, more snow, and less school groups.
