I just started skiing about 8 years ago. I live fairly close to GP so this resort was always my resort of choice. I have to say that I have ventured out and about to quite a few other resorts, and always regret having not gone to GP. The staff are excellent, the ski patrol are excellent - and yes always in site! Most of all, the grooming is impeccable compared to any other resort I have gone to. The chalets are always very clean. The lifts are great - especially the high speed lift! Even if it is busy, you are not waiting in line forever. One time one of the groomers even took the time to talk to the kids about the lifts, how they work and the groomer machines! I dropped a glove off the lift, and one of the staff made sure I had it within minutes at the top where I had gotten off. My only wish is that the weather would be perfect from day one to the last! I also wish I was an expert level skier who skied with speed and grace on double blacks! ;)
