Great terrain and lots of groomed powder runs
Still some old chairlifts that need upgrades

Full review

We went on Saturday Feb 23, 2013..the day after the snows of at least 6 inches on past Thursday and Friday. It was definitely powder day on the slopes. Here is my website videos about this ski resort: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVCLnL2iXddSrbbt0_EXmO5ZA0X4gFP4b&feature=em-share_playlist_user This season 2012-2013, they recently upgraded another chairlift which is now a Quad, but not a high speed express. I wish it was because it was still slow going up to the blue runs where this Quad chairlift was placed. Other than still slow chairlifts, the terrains and all the runs are great and long winding consistent runs. You can really practice your carvings either on skis or snowboards. Also, this season they stop closing the resort at 5pm til 6pm for grooming for an hour because they used to do it in the past. When I talked to the ski patrol on the slopes when I was there, he told me that they don't close the resort anymore at that time. So, it stays open until 9 or 10pm closing time. However they still check your lift tickets if you have the all day & night ticket or you only have the 8 hour until 5pm ticket. Overall, we still love this resort to visit every season. It sure is a mini-Colorado style of resort with its winding long runs. This website (onthesnow.com) needs to update their trail map that they are showing here because the resort has an updated trail map already. You can really see some big differences.
