Save your money and do not go here. Only had 3 lanes open for tubing so waited atleast 15-20 minutes to get back up the hill. Went to the lodge. Waited 30 minutes for a margarita that never came and then gave me a bill for someone’s random beer. Worst service and very disorganized

Don’t waste your time going here. We made reservations for snowboarding a week prior to our visit. Waited 2 hours for equipment to become available but that never happened. I asked for a refund and was told my credit card would be refunded the next day. Our visit was on January 17. Never received a refund. Called to get a status on that and got sent to a voicemail. No one returned my call. We won’t go back there.
Poor management

We stayed at Christmas Mountain Jan 1-3, expecting the hill to be fully functional. On the 1st the lifts weren’t even open yet. (All other hills in southern WI we’re open by Thanksgiving this year). They opened on the 2nd with two runs. We waited in line for 1.5 hours to get lift tickets, once we got to front of line it took about 15 seconds to get our tickets. The problem is we had to wait in the same line as people getting rentals. On Sunday we had to check out of our unit by 10. Two of our family members do not ski and there was no where for us to sit until 12:00. Overall, the people are very friendly and we loved the resort, but management runs this place so inefficiently that’s it’s very frustrating. We will only return on a very off weekend when hopefully there aren’t many people.
Nice hill
Took 1.5 hrs to get lift ticket, no place for non skiers until noon
Great place for family of beginners. Short lines, A great value when used with a stay at MT Olympus

Incredibly disappointed in Christmas Mountain, because it has SO much potential to be a really cool place. Their slopes are fun but unfortunately I will never be back.. When waiting to get our skiing equipment we waiting TWO HOURS in line, which is completely unacceptable. Being someone that’s been skiing a few other times in my life at other hills I have never experienced this before. Their workers had no clue had to run a smooth and efficient line. Everyone was irritated. Finally I brought up the issue to someone who looked as if she was a manager... I expressed that we had been waiting in line for nearly and hour and a half and she replies snarkly “Well I can’t provide you an estimated wait time.” All I was trying to explain was they needed to get more people to help on the line. One guy with a family even came in incredibly angry because not only did he have to wait over a hour to get his ski equipment but they weren’t even able to go down any hills because of the wait times. Customer service was terrible, and not only in the pro shop. We went and sat at the restaurant for about a hour and not one person walked up to us asking if they can help. We ended up just ordering from the bar (this is a full restaurant). We wasted for much of our time waiting in lines or waiting for someone to help, I was highly disappointed and will not be back.

This tiny mountain is a great place to ski to take a family or to learn. The lift lines are non existent and the trails are well groomed. Overall a great place to ski.
cheap, easy to get to, lots of easy runs,
lacking hard runs, small pro shop
