Great Spot for Local Riding

    Pros: Close to Chicago & Milwaukee; Fast lifts. Fun runs, family, terrain park, on site lodging

    Cons: Short runs, Snow can be hit or miss (typical of the region)

    Recommended For: Single/Newlyweds, Family Friendly, Empty Nesters

Full review

Been snowboarding here for the last 12 years. A great place get out for a day trip. They has a good balance so Greens, Blues and Blacks. This is a good place for first timers to learn on. There are two rope served bunny slope, a magic carpet and lift served greens. Blue and black runs are somewhat short but sufficiently challenging and the high speed quad will get you to the top quickly.
