Alpine Valley slopes are great for high speed practice of skiing and snowboarding, It has 3 black diamond slopes called Big Thunder, Broadway, and Lodge Express where you can speed skiing. The green runs to the right side of the resort are great for beginners that includes the EZ Rider quad chair lift and magic carpet. The terrain parks all the way to the left are great for snowboarding, lots of jumps and trails.
The place has lots of parking lots, it is really set up for large capacities of people coming from Illinois cities. It can even accommodate tour buses. There are many places to eat, outside outdoors facing the resort, inside both downstairs and upstairs. There is a large bar and live band also playing upstairs. Great for Yappies. All of these eating and bar places are facing the resort mountain. Very nice cozy eating place upstairs, great for the whole families. The food are cheaper than any other ski resort place in Wisconsin...like Cascade, and good size of plates enough to fill you up. I have been coming up here because of the whole set up of the place. See all my pics of this place.
