Located on the western slope of the Continental Divide at an elevation of 3,028 feet, and just 27 miles from Glacier National Park, Whitefish is home to a variety of summer activities. Whitefish Mountain Resort offers 30 miles of downhill and cross-country lift accessible mountain bike trails to explore. Whitefish Trail, located 7 miles from downtown, provides 25 miles of diverse trail systems for outdoor enthusiasts and hikers.
