Full review

In all fairness, it's been a horrible year for natural snow. So the trails were all manmade. Winterplace is great for kids/ beginners due to the short runs and lots of greens. The resort caters to church youth groups as evidenced by the large seating/ cafeteria area and the food consists of pizza or hamburgers with fries. That's the only good I can say. Now for the bad- not a resort for intermediate/ expert skiers, narrow trails, slow lifts, a dated/ dirty lodge, old rentals, poor grooming of trails (although it was all manmade). It's a great place for kids, not adults.
