Cons: Long Lift Lines & Crowding (holiday weekend)

I went on MLK Jr Weekend, which turns out to be the busiest weekend of the year for Winterplace because Youth Groups from all over the east coast swarm this place for the massive ski weekend. It was definitely packed, but I had a blast having all the people on the ground and sitting down because it gave me a chance to practice my turns and self-awareness after not snowboarding for over 2 years. We got there right as the lifts were opening and got a bunch of runs in before all the youth groups started showing up.
As for the slopes, they had a bunch of great intermediate runs and plenty of beginner runs. There are only a few Black Diamonds there, and even those didn't look too tough, they were just long, which added to their difficulty.
I had a blast at Winterplace and would consider going back any day of the year, other than MLK Jr weekend.
My favorite slopes there were the SNOW BOWL and the WOODS RUN.
