I went there Jan. 2-4 for a short snowboarding trip. Coming from the Columbus, OH region it was under a 5 hour drive. The snow conditions were great and I love the Almost Heaven, Off the Wall, and Twister runs. To me the 2 mile Salamander run is overrated (Its basically flat the whole way) I guess it would be great for beginners. They have a great college discount, it's $18 for an all-day pass. One complaint I have is that they really need a high speed lift. Its at least a 10 minute ride to the top. Overall it was a great trip and an enjoyable mountain, I do plan on returning.
