I went there this past weekend, and it was completely awesome, for the price. For being owners at the Steamboat Grand, we got a discount on absolutely everything, so the lift tickets only ended up being $40 per day. Not cheap, but when you have paid $88 per day in lift tickets on one trip, $40 per day is not bad at all.
It was kind of confusing that the village was at the summit, but I got used to it...
Unfortunately, one of my friends broke their collarbone in the terrain park... Other than that, the whole trip was awesome, and well worth the drive.
