I visited Snowshoe on Saturday March 1st. The conditions were really good, mostly powder and packed power. The resort had gotten 10” of snow a few days before. It was my best day up there all year. The Western Territory was great, except the very beginning of Cupp which was ice. The only problem is that lower cup looked like a battle field with people falling down all over the place. My advice to anyone who wants to go on a weekend though is to stay away from Ballhooter lift because it is packed. If you are an advanced skier or rider stay in the Western Territory there are no lines.
