Full review

I was up at Snowshoe for MLK weekend, Sunday and Monday. Other than being extremely cold on Sunday (high of about 11°) it was a good trip. The slopes were good and almost all open and were in pretty good condition. Other than a little ice in the middle of some slopes I have no complaints. There were a lot of people there on Sunday, as expected, but the resort did a good job organizing the lines. My only complaint is some of the rudeness some of the employees had. On Monday at around noon they randomly closed off Sawmill and Camp 99 right as I was about to go down them. When I asked the ski patrol for details on why these runs were closed and when they would be open again he impolitely told me off. Also, while waiting to get on a lift I saw the lift organizer (the guy who makes sure that all the chairs are full) yelling at people who did not understand his directions. My only reason for even mentioning this is I wish that Snowshoe would do more to make there employees act more considerate to paying customers. If you are considering go to snowshoe I highly recommended going. My only request is don’t ski or ride on runs above your ability I am tired of seeing people get hurt and dodging people who fall down every ten feet on black diamonds (I understand learners will fall, but stay on greens).
