Snowshoe is a complete rip off with overpriced tickets and all the terrain not being accessible. If you charge $75 dollar tickets you should have more than 60% of the mtn open. that in itself is a rip off. They have high speed lifts but they never seem to be high speed with the exception of the black diamond side. The runs are narrow which is a hazard when those around you cannot ride. People love to stop in the middle of the run at the apex waiting for death, move to the side idiots don't sit in the middle of a narrow run and expect not to be hit by someone, and parents make sure your kids move out of the way if they stop. I have held a season pass for years with this mtn watching the steady decline in conditions, service, and the fact that everything is so expensive from rooms to tickets makes this mtn one of the worst for those on budgets. I don't feel that they are here for the customer they just want to see how much money they can rip out of your wallet. $120 dollars a night for a room than $75 dollars a ticket ridiculous for such a crap mtn. Go to Canaan Valley, it is cheaper and has more reasonable ticket prices and lodging. Avoid this mtn. you will most likely be disappointed if you are better than intermediate rider because there is nothing worth while after that. A very overrated mtn. With little that should be rated this high.
