great set up beautiful terrain friendly staff
can get crowded on weekends some of the lifts are just way too slow
been going to snowshoe for the last 6 years. Almost always have had great snow, Many times better conditions then when I go out West. Very good restaurants to eat in very good facilities to stay at. The bus system there is top notch so you get to the different areas easily without needing your car. Love the underground parking at some of the hotels. Many hotels have their own hot tubs, but be sure to check out split rock pool and hot tub kids love it and so did the adults. Compared to going out last this is the best are going to find in the mid-Atlantic. The Western territory is challenging but not overwhelming. Only negative I have is that some of the lifts were kind of slow. Also too much up and down as the runs are down and up so expect to ride the lift a lot. But remember you on the East Coast and not out West. The mountain is extremely friendly for riders and skiers alike. Very well maintained equipment. Staff I thought were strangely friendly. Keep a lookout for special deals on season passes which can be very reasonable and you get a discount at almost all the stores restaurants as well as cheap tickets to other inter-West resorts.
