We went Fri night. Almost nobody there. Snow was pretty crunchy. Hit my top speed on ski tracks app. Cuz it was basically solid ice covered with some crunch. Thankfully there was that little bit of snow on top to make turns with.
Very icy today, pretty rough conditions. Even some bare spots starting to appear. The rain really destroyed the base, no more signs of the 36" from a week ago. Hope they can start up the guns again this weekend to cover it.
Very foggy today (Groundhog Day) and poor vis. Snow is soft and has been melting since we got here. It's not awful but it's more like spring skiing conditions. Luckily it cools off Thu & hopefully they can make snow for the weekend.
Was there last weekend. Overall good. Variable conditions, some powder, some ice and hard packing. Fri was great. Sat morning 40min lift lines. Got better in the afternoon. Best conditions were at silver creek. Didnt even go to snowshoe on sunday
Very good weekend overall. The slopes near Ballhooter and Powdermonkey were alright but over by Soaring Eagle it was great. Lots of powder and even some nice moguls. The Wester Territory was also great. All of Cupp Run and Shay's Revenge were open and not very icy.
