So not too bad. Early morning from about 8-10, there were still fresh tracks waiting to be made. The area in between drop-off and snow bowl had depths ranging from 6" to knee high powder. Turkey shoot had some deep spots early too. Moguls are getting big. By noon, everything was pretty much gone. If you want any sort of soft stuff, ski turkey or snowbowl/drop-off. Nose dive and plunge were groomed nicely, with ice developing later on. Stay away from woods run and any greens if you don't want to hike. It was brutally cold, but worth it. Lines got long around 11am and lift #9 was broke down. ....for best snow, I would ski first chair on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Awesome conditions here at snowshoe. The western territory is perfect without any lines. It's been very cold around 3-8 degrees but dress warm cause it's worth it. Crowds are coming in for the weekend but as cold as it is if you want to wait till Tuesday it should have amazing conditions. d
I was up there this past weekend and conditions were good considering the weather the week before. Minimal ice and snow was hard packed. Going back up this weekend and it looks like frigid temperatures with fresh snow!
everyone wants to be so negative about the ski conditions if u hate them so much go live in Florida and leave us people alone who are happy just to get to ski and make the most out of what mother nature gives us its not all the resorts fault
