That's it for Northstar, if it's this slushy messy after 3 to 5" & snowmaking I can't see them lasting much longer! Not with 60° weather at end of week!

The snow and grooming on chair five and six as well as four is awesome!!! Saturday and Sunday skiing was spectacular if you like groomers!!

I'm going to Lake Tahoe in about 2 weeks. Will the snow hold up at the resorts and will a good amount of runs be open???

Having fun out their, great bit of new snow! Just a bummer not what Mammoth usually deliveres for March eagle closed, cloud 9 hasn't been open all season, canyon is almost done and it's looking to be what could the earliest closing on record

Just back from four days at Mammoth. Spring skiing, with frozen mornings and slushy afternoons. Sadly, most of ungroomed upper mountain not skiable as it hasn't warmed enough to undo thaw crust of ten days ago. That said, lots of fun to be had in Santiago etc. Likely to be shortest spring skiing season I Mammoth history, so get yours now.

Re: It is definitely worth being there! And the only downside might be that they mentioned Sunday was the last day of the backside lifts. And the backside was super fun. I could only imagine with the recent dusting! Have fun if you go!

Conditions must be great for a true boarder or skier after the recent dusting. I'm planning a trip in April. Hope they will have stuff open. And also be open at that. What's everyone's opinion? And also anyone whom works there or just has an idea when closing date is projected? Spring s
