U can access dry creek from face lift and then ski over to dry creek and from there u can ski the lower terrain off of 5 and the lower terrain off gold rush

They most likely closed those down cuz there's now enough people using the mountain this time of year. It costs them money to operate the additional lifts, groom the additional runs, and patrol an extra section of the mountain.

Lifts start at 8 am. You get 3 surprisingly good hours on the snow. After that the snow gets very sticky. Summit & Roundhouse open.

Ya Charles i don't understand why they close those lifts so early! There's deffinetly plenty of snow and I'm sure 5 is still great right now
