The Summit at Snoqualmie sits 45 minutes east of Seattle on I-90, in the heart of the Mt.Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest. The Summit consists of three base areas: Summit West, Summit Central and Summit East. There are 1,100 acres of terrain with vertical ranging anywhere from 765 feet to 1,100 feet. The average snowfall is 435 inches per year. Summit Central has a superpipe, black diamond to beginner runs, top-to-bottom terrain parks, glades, and tubes. Summit East, open weekends only for alpine skiing and riding, has consistent fall line terrain, good tree runs and the Nordic Center's 50 kilometers of skate and classic groomed trails. Summit West has the West 52nd Terrain Park, and the West Greenhorn Park for those new to the terrain park scene.
From Seattle/Metro Area: Take I-90 East to Exit 52 for Summit West and Alpental, Exit 53 for Summit Central, The Summit Tubing Center and the Silver Fir Outpost, or Exit 54 for Summit East at Hyak and The Summit Nordic Center
From Cle Elum/Ellensburg/Spokane: Take I-90 West to Exit 54 for Summit East at Hyak and The Summit Nordic Center, and the Silver Fir Outpost, or Exit 53 for Summit Central, The Summit Tubing Center, as well as Summit West and Alpental
Tuesdays through Sundays, The Summit at Snoquamlie provides complimentary intra-resort shuttles. The Summit runs anywhere from 2-5 shuttles on a continuous loop between base areas depending upon business levels. Shuttles should be arriving at each base area roughly every 20 minutes (weather and traffic dependent).
Seattle Ski Shuttle: $35 round trip with possible discounted lift ticket. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, picks up in West Seattle and Downtown Seattle. Reservations are required. For more information and to inquire about reservations, visit their website or call 206-953-0237.
