Snow was nothing like yesterday. Very slushy and grabby. Slopes under 50 degrees were not very fun to ride. Chutes behind the double d cabin were very sketchy but fun.

Better than I expected still some untouched powder down big chief bowl. A little sketch to get there. Rest of the mountain had some ice, slush and choppy snow plus low coverage.

Surprised there were few crowds and still plenty of parking on a Sunday! Groomers were firm with a tiny bit of new snow. Backside was softer even bordering slushy at the base of Jupiter Express. And the sun came out. Great morning of skiing at 35F

Blue bird day at Steven’s Pass! Sunny day with very few people. Mainly packed groomers.

Real icy! You can really feel the lack of snow from the last 4 days. Not too many people for a Saturday morning.

Bluebird day today! Place was empty, all day. Some powder on all trails. Off trail was great powder. So fun!

Lot’s of new NW cement today. Unless there’s a decent pitch you basically bog down. We ended up taking three runs and headed home as lifts were late opening, snow was clumpy and runs were pretty congested. Overall a D+ kind of day.

Holy chunder Batman! Frontside was alright backside was probably the worst skiing experience I’ve ever had. And yet on we ski!
