Stevens pass is mostly a big intermediate mountain, although with decent beginner terrain and a handful of nice steeps. It has a fairly large terrain park, which helps to keep people off the goods as well.
Beginners will enjoy the ridiculously easy daisy chair. For the intermediates, there's the skyline chair and hogsback; Advanced skiers will like the backside and big chief/double diamond areas.
the areas available for the trule expert skiers are smaller than alpental, baker or crystal, but none the less worth skiing. The 7th heaven chair is intimidating, but not as challenging as it appears.
They really gouge you on the food prices, though. c'est la vie.
