Stevens Pass is a good hill that has the potential of being great. What makes it good is the terrain and even sometimes the quality of snow, for the Northwest it is not bad. The potential is there to expand the inbound skiable area, and expand on the amenities. There is no place on the mountain to stay making it less inviting to do multiple ski days in a row. With the closest town being Skokomish, and that place really need some love.
Looking at the future plans for the Pass it seems that they are working on making it a great destination. Now is all they need to do is act on the plan and show some progress.
