Last weekend's Legendary Banked Slalom was filled with the wild good times the event is famous for, not to mention some serious competitive drama. On the Pro Men's side only eight one hundredths of a second separated the top three finishers, with Washingtonian Lucas DeBari just getting the better of Maine's Seth Wescott and California's Nate Holland.

Diehard riders couldn't ask for more from Steven's Pass this season. The popular Mill Valley area of the resort has been open almost the entire season because of huge snowfalls that continue to pound the region. In the last week alone the area has recieved more than 170cm of snow.

The Summit at Snoqualmie was recently rated 12th in North America for Overall Resort and 12th in North America among Terrain Parks by Freeskier Magazine. "It's cool to see that the rest of the country is noticing what we're doing up here. We've been working really hard at putting out the best parks for years," said terrain park supervisor Kevin Turner.

Winds have died down at Mt Baker after a blustery week. The mountain is conducting normal midweek operations out of the White Salmon Base Area after a powerful early winter storm ripped through the area, closing several Washington resorts for a time but leaving behind some of the best snow conditions locals have seen in a long time.
