Went to Baker a few days ago and had a great time. One of my personal pet peeves about resorts is slow lifts. Not that I don't understand that it takes money to update older lifts and yes I could be a bit more patient about getting to the top of the mountain. However the runs at Baker are just too awesome to be stuck on a slow lift getting there.I have a thing about wide open runs and there are many at Baker.Get over to chair 8 as fast as you can.Every one of the runs from there will blow you away.I felt like a kid at a candy store. The day started off great with some fresh pow from the night before. We were all over that place. Then it began to snow and it didn't let up.The pow got too deep and it was rough going from there on.Lift tickets are cheap at $36.I rented a performance board (smart choice) and had the most awesome day yet.If I get back to Washington soon, you bet I'll visit Bker again.Nightlife non existant but then that isn't what I'm there for.
