Wow! I just skied Baker for the first time and I was blown away! Snow wasn't the best (ie. no powder), but I got a feel for what is undoubtedly a freeriders paradise. I couldn't help but gush about how much fun any and all of those cliffs and pillows that I saw going up the lift would be with 10" on top of them, never mind 20"+. I can't recommend it as a destination if you are bringing a family due to minimal nearby facilities, but if you really love to ski a challenging mountain , this is undoubtedly the greatest place on earth. PS: I lived in Whistler for seven years and am now a convert to Baker!
