Last weekend's Legendary Banked Slalom was filled with the wild good times the event is famous for, not to mention some serious competitive drama. On the Pro Men's side only eight one hundredths of a second separated the top three finishers, with Washingtonian Lucas DeBari just getting the better of Maine's Seth Wescott and California's Nate Holland.

The fresh snow made for a great Legendary Banked Slalom local's qualifier at Mt Baker last weekend. The annual event is a Pacific Northwest original that attracts pros and locals of all ages to fight for the coveted LBS trophy: a roll of duct tape.

Due to stormy conditions and high winds, Mount Baker will be operating out of the White Salmon base area only today and there is a wind hold currently in effect on Pan Dome.

Winds have died down at Mt Baker after a blustery week. The mountain is conducting normal midweek operations out of the White Salmon Base Area after a powerful early winter storm ripped through the area, closing several Washington resorts for a time but leaving behind some of the best snow conditions locals have seen in a long time.
