Mission Ridge is a great place to ski and ride. The recent addition of a high speed quad chair lift has been such an asset and so much nicer than before. Its only 12 miles from the city of wenatchee and some of the veiws on the mountain (on good days especially) are quite spectacular. There is a variety of terrain and they have also modified one ski run into a wider path so that it qualifies for super-G; new this year. The lines don't get too long and I think they worked out all the bugs on the new high speed quad since last season so it looks very promising for the future of Mission Ridge. They have a great pro shop, a lodge that accomodates everyone, child care, lessons, and a mini-lodge on the middle of the hill. I believe it has some of the best snow in the state. many places to stay and dine and shop locally as well.
