I could not decide between Thursday and Friday I chose Friday thinking there will be more on top of 8 they got Thursday or at least some left over... Big mistake on my behalf but this weekend looks promising. Overall groomers were nice and you can find the left over powder if you know where to look when I left it was pissing snow so fingers crossed maybe sat?

Slopes have a good 1" of rideable snow. Got some nice speed runs in. Light snow flurries my noon.

No 'crack of noon club' this time. Up early for some small powder stashes, horrific ice skiing, but early morning view of Mt. Rainer was spectacular.

The snow was pretty nice yesterday at Crystal. There was 4 inches of powder on the top, but ice underneath. So every time I made a hard turn I could feel the ice scrape against my skis. It was still really fun in the morning though.

Hit up Crustal on New Year's Day. It was icy hard packed with some exposures. Be careful as it is sketchy. High Campbell Chair and Hamburger were open and had a lot of rocks exposed. (See photo). It was a sunny day so it wasn't a bust but lots of traffic for the day off. Would recommend waiting until the next big snow storm before heading up. But Snoqualmie pass holders ride free so if you got a pass might as well put it to use!

Icy in AM because minimal grooming due to lack of snow. Loosened up when rain started at 1:30pm.
