Just a little note from my point of view. While Crystal does have some good snow conditions and is usually open early and late into the season(I can remember one year riding in June or so), it is overall a sub-par experience. The next best thing it has going for it is Apres Ski. If you like a lot of time on the chair, in lift lines and traversing this is the mountain for you. It reminds me a little of Meadows(except less traversing at meadows), but it's a little down hill then flattens out or you have to traverse to your downhill experience which overall takes you half the time to get down as it did to traverse. There are alot of merging trails and too many people dinking around here, they will get in your way. If the snow itself is the only thing that matters then go and stay but if you prefer a better downhill experience with a lot better terrain I would suggest any of the following: Baker(5), Alpental(5), Stevens(4). But stay away from Alpental if you don't like waiting in line or on heavy days, and don't trust the snow-phone at Stevens they tend to inflate the numbers.
