Midweek skiing means practically no lift lines at Bluewood, making more time for powder and tree skiing. Bluewood hosts a number of great events, including a New Year’s Eve fireworks Celebration, Magic on the Mountain, and the annual end-of-year celebration, Bash, featuring a 100-foot pond skim, races, raffles, and more. Bluewood also hosts a number of park contests throughout the season.

Tree skiing is among the highlights of Bluewood, with trees nicely spaced to always funnel you back to the lifts. For those seeking the complete Bluewood experience, Vintners Ridge cat skiing is a unique add-on experience to your lift ticket, providing access to an additional 200 acres of incredible sidecountry terrain via snowcat all day long, conditions permitting.

Coming for the 2025-25 ski season is a high-speed quad.

Scott

Been coming to Bluewood for a few years now and all I can say is it's WAY better than you would think. Even though they only have 24 trails, you can ski the whole mountain, the trees are incredible, prefect spacing and less ridden, I had fresh tracks all day on a Saturday. The Park is pretty good too, over the past couple of years they have started putting more effort into it and the contests they held last year were super sick. The lift is a bit slow but they are getting a high speed quad summer 25' and it's not THAT slow. Overall would highly recommend and their prices are really good too.
