STAY AWAY UNTIL THEY GET SOME SNOW and even then think twice! I know they've had some pretty harsh weather, but on Friday night Jan 9, I saw at least 5 huge holes with running water in them that were UNMARKED. A kid talking a lesson went into one and was lucky not to have been hurt or worse. The staff and patrol were unbelievably cavalier about the whole thing. The instructor was great, thank God.
The trail in question (or maybe even the whole hill) should have been closed or at least looked at closely first. I've had good experience there in the past, and hope to in the future, but right now they're running the place like some Wall Street investment firm - just worry about the bottom line and forget the customers. I know the snow condition is not their fault, but whoever's in charge of safety there really dropped the ball.
