Full review

Brought the kids and some of their pals for a birthday skiing weekend. The group varied in experience from beginner, emerging intermediate and experienced skiers. I was overall very pleased with the conditions. I think you have to establish the expectation based on your location - 2 hours outside of DC is not Vermont nor California. Massanutten is a great value for those within a 2 hour drive. The conditions were very good. Only a few icy spots. Traffic on the slopes was very manageable - was easy to select a path and have little fear of collisions - kids were very safe. The more advanced trails had less people on them - very nice. Lodge are was a bit mobbed. Kudos to the ski school - they got two of youngsters going on snowboards with confidence their fists day.
