Full review

I used to ski the double black runs in Colorado, Utah and did heli skiing in B.C. and Idaho. This place obviously doesn't offer any of that, but I had a blast skiing Diamond Jim. It's rated Black but would be rated Blue out west, however, some of the blue runs in small western resorts can be run top to bottom straight down no turns and not hit much over 70 mph, On Diamond Jim, you actually have to turn or you will probably exceed 80 mph. I skied wednesday, 12-11-13. Cruised about 45 mph max, with enough turns to keep the ski patrol happy. Good man made snow. I want to go back and ski the other black runs. Even if you are an advanced skier, hard up for skiing and can't go out west or very far from DC, this place is great!!!
