I went to Sugarbush on Valentine's day and was happily surprised when I went to pay for my lift ticket and found out they were running a special that day, $14 for an all day ticket! Temps had been up near 40 a few days before so conditions were not ideal. I read the snow report that morning before we left and the website said they had received 5 in of new snow, so I thought we might get some pretty good riding. Probably one of the most dishonest snow reports I have ever read, there might have been an inch or two of fresh surface. And to top it off the entire upper mountain was closed. I guess you get what you pay for.
