Pros: Variety, vertical, Stein's Run... glades and beautiful views...
Cons: Slow chairs... summit lifts don't open early...

My first trip to Sugarbush won't be my last... I was incredibly impressed even on a -19 degree day at the summit. The extreme cold and lack of fresh pow didn't allow for great bumps nor trips into the trees. No matter, Sugarbush is so vast I found plenty of terrain to enjoy. I don't know of another hill in New England that has such a high terrain/trees to trail ratio. The place is a beauty... the views from the summit are amazing... and the trips down, delightful.
From Lincoln Peak Village alone you can access three sumiits, two via chairs from the base although neither goes to directly the top. On a -19 degree day staying mid-mountain has advantages. I still had a blast on Stein's Run, my favorite, from Super Bravo, and Sleeper Chutes, next best, from Gate House Express. One trip to CastleRock was a challenge that day... rock hard oversized bumps top to bottom. Oh well... worth a trip on a warmer day.
The people... as nice as could be... free sherpa service, free hot cider... they don't get any nicer... south of the Canadian border. Gotta go again...
