Good day, grooming wasn't as good as yesterday but it's mid March and it's fun. Yesterday was one of the best days.

It was March 18 and the conditions were unbelievable. Other than the sun spots there was no ice at all, early in the morning had some pow left over from Stella

Icy and foggy at the top and cold! But still lots of fun. Black diamonds way less busy than blues. Shooting star closed!

Thu 3/16 - Not sure I can quantify the 25" reported, like more like a foot was there from the storm with some drifting, actual trails are thinner with additional settling and more blowing. Woods look good, probably resurfaced by wind, but haven't been in them. Some ice on top areas that are typically wind scraped, but a nice packed powder surface beyond that. Some trails that were opened after the storm may not last that long, but main trails are all good.

They got about a foot, but it's really wind blow. Some places have nothing, others have 4 ft wind drifts. But it's snow!

Fri 3/10 - I had a good day demoing Never Summer boards, but it got skied out before noon in light traffic. It really is dust on crust. The only trail I saw without blue ice everywhere was Frank's Fall Line. I have sharp edges and a board with incredible hold and was fine, but it wasn't the type of day that you wanted to get any air. I'm surprised that they haven't been making snow to resurface during this cold stretch like everyone else has been. Such a nice place, but their snow conditions generally lag others in Southern Vermont, and that's by choice.
