Stratton has great snowmaking and grooming.They do keep the mountain in good shape later in the season than most other resorts because they host the US Snowboard Open in late March. Other than that, there is not much to say. I have found the lift lines to be very long and the parking difficult at best. Although there are a number of options that seem to be great for apres ski right in the Stratton village, they are always very crowded and the staff and patrons are rude. I have also found far more rude skiiers and riders here than I ever encountered at Mt Snow. Save yourself the extra 45 min drive and head to Mt. Snow.
