Full review

Stratton is a great family mountain. Lifts are great and terrain is skiable by everyone. It does lack great expert terrain and for that you need to head further north, but the expanded glade skiing can make it fun for better skiing. Single day lift tickets are pricey but multi-day deals, especially combined with lodging, can be as cheap as anywhere. It can get very crowded so try to avoid busy holidays. Base village is somewhat anti-Vermont, but it does make things easy with multiple ski shops and dining choices. While northern mountains are our favorites, such as Stowe and Sugarbush, we always have a great time an Stratton and will be back.
