My daughter, sister and I arrived on New Year's Eve, and toasted the New Year after a torchlight parade and fireworks, which were spectacular, yet took second place to the grand nature up here.This is a resort with something for everyone, that succeeds with a combination of great skiing, regularly good to excellent snow conditions, and very professional, yet heartfelt Vermont service.We planned to stay only 3 nights, but extended the stay when a friend from my daughter's school arrived.It was superb to spend 6 days with getting into a car to xcountry ski, bring my daughter to alpine ski camp, dogsled, snowshoe, swim and hottub, and go out to eat.A real vacation.
