Pros: Great downhill, challenging terrain. Good varitey in terrain/steepness. Great snow for region. Great glades/backwoods skiing.

Cons: Everything shows wear and age; snowmaking equipment, lifts, baselodge, amenities, and general resort needs renovation.

For the true skier/boarder, the mountain is great. Vertical is great, with great snow, powder is not uncommon. Variety is great too; backwoods, chutes, steeps, cruisers.

On the other hand, though, the resort as a whole, is falling behind the times. No high-volume snow-making (though they get plenty great snow), with only archaic non-fan snow guns. As everybody says, all of their lifts are slow. The resort says that it is to limit traffic on the mountain, but it goes two ways: This is still true, but there isn't even one high-speed lift for an option. Also, they only have one, mid-sized base lodge for both of their main mountains; Madonna and Sterling. It's not in peak condition, and needs work. The condos need renovation.
