Closed on Monday, due to impending rain and ice doom. She can't last too long as the step child to Killington. Combine the 2 resorts already!!!

Photo from last Friday. Sure looks like powder to me. Sounds like there was a little freezing rain after close, but Friday was great.

Layer of crust on top but once that got pushed of there was some soft snow underneath some ice in spots. Not bad, people expect too must remember #icecoast

Sat 3/25 - Started around freezing with a heavy inversion layer with semi-firm slushy groomers that were smooth and fast. Fog then started to freeze on the slopes a couple hours later making the tops slick...and then boom, it snowed until 3 pm. Slopes were resurfaced with nice packed powder returning the edge hold. Great day. Only a small lift line at the main bubble, and a typical peak season Friday's traffic in a Saturday. Season is not over folks!

Mixed bag today. Foggy all day but decent conditions. Rain in the morning, then sleet, and by afternoon it was all snow and really coming down.

Smuggs was awesome today, lots of fresh trails, no lift lines on both Madonna lifts in the morning. All runs we're great and uncrowded. Switched over to Sterling lift after 1, the crowds and racing event were gone, snow was even deeper and soft carvable turning all afternoon. Love Black Snake. Forgot to mention the low cloud hanging on the peak all day, but maybe that kept the crowds away. Hope to come back once we get corn skiing. This will be the place!

Fri 3/22 - Snowed 4-8 inches from base to the peak today, and was still snowing in the top half at close. Here's a gift...they never opened the top of Lincoln Peak today, so Saturday morning head there for fresh and somewhat deep untouched powder. Mount Ellen was hover open up top, and no one was there! Nice to be able to hit fresh snow in Spring!
